Just 60 minutes from Seattle, WA plus a restful 20 minute ferry ride. Hot tub, great views, nature parks, golf, beachcombing. A world away!

The Space:

The Tree Swing has two bedrooms, one with a very comfortable queen bed and the other with two bunk beds (twin over full and twin over twin). Both rooms have Smart TVs installed.

Enjoy the full bath and a fully outfitted kitchen, including a waffle maker and a complimentary coffee and tea station.

Cozy up by the wooden stove in a comfortable living room where a 65' screen Smart TV presides. A queen hide-a-bed couch allows you to catch up on your favorite shows. Starlink affords blazing fast internet when you need it (remote work anyone, this is perfect for you?!).

Our huge covered porch provides extra outdoor seating protected from the weather that can accommodate the whole party, not least a lovely outdoor live edge bar with four stools to take in the beautiful lake views. The four person hot tub is just a step off the porch.

There is an awesome cedar tree with two swings for both kids or grown ups to play on. Sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows is a wonderful way to spend the evening.

Indulge in an afternoon paddle on the canoe or two available standup paddle boards from the Tree Swing's private dock. Grab a dinner or drink at the Lakeshore Riviera Restaurant just a short paddle away. We also have two mountain bikes stored in the car port in case you want to bike ride to dinner or to the beach.

The Tree Swing welcomes well behaved dogs, we have two pet beds located in the closet of the bunk bed room and doggy bags located on the front porch for clean up. We do have a one time pet fee of $50 per dog.

When you need to really get away from it all, the Lakeside Tree Swing is just a ferry ride away!

"Serious comfort vibes. Almost instantly we felt right at ease; almost like we were at our own lake house. Laura went to great lengths to give clear directions, & offered resources to find local amenities/events. The lake was so beautiful, and calm. My dogs felt right at home (I loved how pet friendly Laura & the property was), they LOVED running around the huge fenced yard; we were very happy that the yard was poop free as sometimes pet friendly locations are not. There was a nice selection of tea (I love tea). My husband & I are avid fishers, so being able to cast off the dock/from the canoes on the lake, was nice. The hot tub was hot/ready for us when we got there. But the main thing I want to mention, is the back porch. It was seriously perfect! The swings, the view of the lake, having coffee on the porch every morning was the highlight of my stay. We absolutely plan to return this summer with our kiddos. Ferry Tips

Plan to arrive at least 20 to 30 min. prior to the ferry you would like to catch. Park in lane 1 or 2 and then walk down to the ferry office to purchase tickets or purchase tickets online prior by following the links via the Anderson Island Assistant app (www.anderson-island.org).

Our family has loved getting away to Anderson Island, this incredibly peaceful and southern most island in Puget Sound for many years and we're excited to share this forested gem with you through our vacation homes.

Tree Swing is that lakeshore dream come to life. We've put great love and care into this cabin to make it a wonderful place for a couple or family getaway.

The cabin is just a short stroll to the beach and the neighborhood is perfect for morning or evening walks or bike rides. Or just relax on the covered patio and have the kids swim at the park just a 60 second walk away. Whether paddling the lake, beachcombing, or strolling one of the 7 island forested park paths, the Tree Swing is ideal. Anderson Island is so close to the city, and yet feels a world away.
